After missing on one of Texas' best defensive tackles for the class of 2011, Oklahoma has moved on to other talented targets including Indiana standout Kris Harley who made his first visit to Norman last week.
Harley finished his junior season at Warren Central in Indianapolis, finishing with 91 tackles, including 19 for a loss and five sacks. Along with his 6-foot-3-inch, 265-pound stature, programs have become obsessed with Harley's quickness and relentlessness in getting to the ball carrier.
The talented defender has not narrowed down any choices yet after compiling almost 20 offers in the past three months. Rumors have risen that Oklahoma and Virginia Tech are in the lead, but Harley has shot all these rumors down, saying he plans on taking it slow.
"I don't have a list yet," Harley said when asked about his favorite programs. "I know if I did they'd be up there. I mean, it's Oklahoma. They're high up there, I'll say that."
